TWO FAMILIES IN BURKINA FASO, AFRICA
From left to Right: Sister Ada and brother Abebe and another family Sister Dalila, brother Chuma, sister Neema and Baby Brother Nuru in the front.
These children live with their parents in a small village in Burkina Faso, Central Africa. A year ago, they had to carry water from a polluted river, approximately 3 miles from their village. They made this round trip every day. Because they are young, they had to make several rest stops along the way, and they were in constant danger of being hurt or killed by bad people or wild animals.
We worked with our partners in Africa to install a ground-
The water from the new well is free of waterborne diseases and the children do not become ill with dysentery and diarrhea anymore. They are going to school and becoming positive contributors to their communities. All because a basic need was met! The installation of this clean water well.
This is just one story with a happy ending, and it’s just the beginning. There are thousands of people that need clean, safe drinking water. We have a lot to do and you can help. Public awareness is so important, so please inform your friends and family about this problem with social media and emails. And if possible, please donate to give families healthier lives.
GIVE THESE PEOPLE A BETTER FUTURE!
